Energy Security

An new and effective energy strategy is critical to our national security. We cannot and must not remain dependent on hostile or unstable foreign regimes for the energy that is essential to fuel and sustain our economy, our military and our ability to function as a free nation. We must encourage innovation in the development and ready availability of alternative fuels from new sources, including farm crops, other biomass, wind power, solar power, and also through new technologies for the environmentally sound and safe production of fuels from coal and nuclear resources.
