This is a quick note to thank the many people who joined us in West Lafayette for the official kick-off of our campaign. For those who missed it, it was a very enthusiastic crowd and I left even more energized! Among the 80 plus people who joined us were a number of friends and family from all over the 4th District, including my 93 year old Aunt and several other lifelong Republicans. I was also humbled by endorsements from former Senator Birch Bayh, who has agreed to serve as honorary campaign chairman, former Congressman Lee Hamilton, co-chair of the 9-11 Commission and President of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and former Congressman Dave Evans. We’re started. For all of you who are tired of politics as usual, we can change that. For all of you are frustrated by the actions (and inaction) of our federal government, including the incumbent congressman in the 4th District, please join me. WE CAN CHANGE THAT.
